Free · 45 Minutes · No Card Required
Book your free strategy session.
A focused, candid conversation about your tax position, financial picture, and the opportunities we can see. You leave with at least one actionable idea — whether or not you hire us. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to.
What to expect
Forty-five minutes, structured for your benefit.
No pitch deck, no boilerplate. The call follows a deliberate cadence so you walk away with substance, not marketing.
You talk first (15 min)
Where you are now, what’s stressing you, what last year’s return revealed. We listen and ask. The goal is to understand your situation before we offer anything.
We surface what we see (20 min)
Specific opportunities our team identifies based on what you’ve described — entity structure, comp planning, cash flow gaps, planning windows we’d look at. Concrete, not generic.
Honest fit assessment (10 min)
Whether we’re the right partner for what you need, what an engagement might look like, and a transparent view of the math. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll tell you and often refer you to someone who is.

What to bring
Optional, but useful.
You don’t need to prepare anything. But if you have these handy, the conversation goes deeper, faster.
- Your most recent filed return1040, 1120-S, 1120, or 1065 — whatever applies. The single most informative document for a first conversation.
- A rough P&L for the current yearEven a back-of-envelope version. Helps us see where the year is heading before it closes.
- Entity structure summaryWhat entities you own, what state they’re organized in, and how you take compensation or distributions.
- One specific questionThe thing keeping you up at night, or the decision you’ve been deferring. Direct beats vague.
- A notice or letter, if applicableIf the IRS or a state has sent you something, bring it. We can usually triage urgency on the call.
Don’t have any of this? Come anyway. The first call is more about listening than analysis — we’ll tell you what we’d need to look at next if there’s a fit.
Prefer not to book online?
We answer the phone. We answer email.
Online scheduling is offered because it removes the back-and-forth — not because we hide behind it. If you’d rather start with a quick call or send a note first, both are listed below.
By phone
Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM Eastern. If we miss you, leave a message — we return calls the same business day.
By email
Email responses typically within one business day. For sensitive documents, ask for a secure portal link — never send tax IDs unencrypted.
“Your guidance this year was always clear, strategic, and refreshingly jargon-free. I have nothing but highly positive things to say about your services to any prospective clients.”
FAQ
Common questions about the first call.
What happens on the first call?
Forty-five minutes, scheduled at your convenience. We listen first: where you are, what’s stressing you, what last year’s return looked like. Then we share specific opportunities we see and a candid view of whether we’re the right fit. No pressure, no boilerplate pitch. Most callers leave with at least one actionable idea even if they never hire us.
Is the consultation actually free, or is there a hidden fee?
Genuinely free. No card on file, no auto-enrollment, no follow-up sequence. We invest the time because the engagements that work best are mutual fits, and the only way to know is to talk.
What should I have ready before the call?
Ideally your last filed return (1040, 1120-S, 1065, 1120) and a rough sense of your business numbers. If you don’t have either, come anyway — the first call is more about listening than analysis.
Do you work with clients outside Indiana?
Yes. Tax practice is federal and our advisory work is location-neutral. Our principal holds unlimited IRS representation rights under Circular 230 §10.3(a), which apply nationwide. We serve clients across the United States and handle multi-state returns where applicable.
What if I’m not sure which service I need?
That’s exactly what the call is for. Many entrepreneurs come in thinking they need tax preparation when what they actually need is advisory — or fractional CFO support before tax planning will compound. We help you figure out the right starting point.
Can I just call or email instead of booking online?
Of course. Phone and email are listed above the FAQ. We answer both. Online booking is offered because it removes the back-and-forth — not because we hide behind it.
